FRAME2FINISH is a locally owned and operated general contracting company specializing in upscale residential and commercial building projects. We tackle everything including residential remodeling, new builds, commercial office/retail tenant improvements, and restaurants.

Our years of experience in the construction industry have allowed us to cultivate strong relationships with local designers, architects, engineers, and sub-contractors. Our strong team of loyal and expert tradespeople works under the direction of our highly experienced superintendents. All of our team members and tradespeople are fully qualified, certified, licensed, insured, and bonded. Your project will be executed with the highest standards of professional conduct.

Meet Brett
Brett has been building in the Los Angeles area since 2004. In 2008, he established FRAME2FINISH. Starting work at the age of 14, Brett rose from entry level to senior management for some of the most successful restaurants, hotels and catering companies in Southern California and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
In 1996, Brett and his brother started, designed and built a chain of premium health focused fast-casual restaurants in South Africa that had grown from the original 31 stores he designed and oversaw construction of, to over 120 before he sold his interest back in 2003. Having always been in the service industry, Brett is a people person and extremely service-minded, a quality his customers have learned to greatly appreciate. When he's not working, Brett enjoys quality time with his wife and daughter, cooking great food, entertaining friends and going to the beach or sailing and boating.
The Team
We are proud to say that most of our staff have been with us since the beginning. Our team includes an administrative and finance department, as well as field crews, project managers and superintendents, all to ensure the highest quality of management, construction and finish. An invaluable part of our team is our tradespeople.
Through the years, we have cultivated strong relationships with designers, architects, engineers and sub-contractors. These relationships allow us to assist in all phases of your project and remain a part of your team from inception to completion and beyond. Experience
Grown solely through the referral process, we have set ourselves apart by employing our project managers, superintendents and finish carpenters to ensure the highest quality of management, construction and finish. Our combined experience and knowledge base has afforded us the successful completion of a wide range of projects, from simple bathroom remodels, to full home remodels, new custom homes, commercial tenant improvements, and a range of hospitality fit outs.

Environment
We are committed to building spaces that are energy, environmentally and health conscious. We offer many options that conserve precious resources, like recirculation pumps that allow you to get hot water to your faucets faster, water conscious plumbing fixtures, drought tolerant landscapes, fluorescent and LED lighting, and low-E window glass to maintain temperatures and lower your energy bill. All these elements comply with the Title 24 (energy efficiency) California building codes.

Health & Safety
We install built-in humidistat controllers to maintain moisture levels to prevent mold and mildew and increase air quality. Our low-VOC, water based interior paints, wood stains, caulkings and adhesives protect your family and maintain a healthy environment for our installers.
We ensure a safe working environment for our crew. Our project managers hold regular tailgate meetings reviewing safety measures with all crew members, always ensuring equipment is well maintained and hard hats, gloves and masks are worn when required. Scaffolding and ladders are always well strapped to the structure and our crew members are properly in harness when applicable. We follow the recommended precautions and policies pursuant to the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA).
Meeting with You
At the meeting, it is always preferential to provide all information you may have including plans, drawings or photos and any design ideas you may want to incorporate into your project. It will help speed up the process and allow us to get a better understanding of the scope of work. If there is another decision-maker involved in the project, please try to include that person in the meeting. After this initial meeting, we will prepare a proposal for you and set up a time to meet with you once again to present the proposal and go over any questions you may have.
